Nacho Ramirez

Mastering Engineer & Executive Director, BlackVitamina

Executive Producer & Mastering Engineer at our creative studio BlackVitamina, as well as manager and bassist at Mecanico.

It all started in 2003, when I was 16, being co-founder and guitarist of Eimy, being part of one of the most massive “underground” scenes in the history of Chilean music, and then studying Sound Production at U.VIPRO in Santiago de Chile (2008), and co-founded bands Prefiero Fernández and Mecanico, where I was manager, co-producer, guitarist and bassist. I have had the experience as manager and musician in festivals such as Lollapalooza, SXSW, Mysteryland, Primavera Fauna, Indie Week Europe, in Melbourne, among others.

I co-founded and produced Insigne Sessions, where I worked with great bands such as Travis (Scotland), Los Jaivas, Camila Moreno, Nano Stern, among others.

I am currently dedicated to music mastering, and the development of our BlackVitamina studio with my partners Nico Parra and Carlos Contreras, and working on what will be the return of Mecanico.

We`re BlackVitamina. As a creative audio studio, we aim to foster and develop the artistic potential of musicians and bands within a wide range of musical genres, no matter where they are in the world. Whether it be producing, mixing or mastering, we`re always eager to explore and immerse ourselves into the new and ever-changing artistic and technological landscapes, both locally and internationally.

Having been artists, performers and managers ourselves, we`ve had the opportunity to work around all aspects of the music business, which gives us the tools to further dive into the projects we work in, including artist development and planning consultancy.
